whoever wakes up first in my house gets to wake everyone else up (the earliest can be 6) and we all get up and open presents. then, we make a bunch of waffles and egg sandwiches and snarf them down while checking out our awesome presents. then we each get to try out our present, then when the morning's over we go spend christmas with our friends. it's rather fun i think

I, like most Aussies, will be trying very hard to keep cool, probably while drinking and excess of alcohol and we will have a barbecue because it is supposed to hit 37 degrees Celsius here on Christmas Day. I'm inclined to agree with the experts on that one, it was 34 degrees and very humid today! I will envy you your snowmen on Christmas Day! We will also be hoping no more bush fires start, our firefighters really badly need a holiday.
Merry Christmas everyone!

I have breakfast every year with my dad's side of the family. It's our tradition. We sit around enjoy the food and each others company.
The rest of the day is spent sitting on our butt's making room for our Christmas dinner that we have with friends & family. It's one of my favorite day's everyone is together laughing and giving hugs.

I am one of those millions who get depressed at holidays and therefore spend them alone so that i do not bring others down... that is the best gift I can give them.... instead of walking around a group of people faking any feelings of joy or happiness that would be rude and disingenuous

In misery at my parents house listening to my mother gripe about my deadbeat sister, her crappy kids, and her trailer trash husband. I get really liquored up, tell them they can all go to hell, and then the wife and I climb into our luxury car, drive back to Austin, and sleep it off in our big, fancy golf course community home with the phones unplugged.
It's our holiday tradition!!

We are at my In-Laws and they have Quiche for breakfast (yuck) and we open gifts. Have dinner around 3 and play games as a family after dessert.
