Since the last episode was made in 2003, it is very unlikely that they would continue the series three years later, they would probably have to recast the entire show.

I don't think so. Shame as I used to enjoy it. It was really bizzare. They had that spin off called 'a new tomorrow' but it did not feature anyone over the age of 12 in it, so it got really annoying.
