i know how it ends and it really is pathetic...... it turns out that they all actually died in the plane crash and they are all trapped souls.... i personally think they could not explain all the cr@p (polar bears etc so they couldn work out a way to end it hence the rubbish ending)

There are loads of possible endings being thrown around - none of which I think are true. In the US, it was a popular belief that all of the 'survivors' on the island were in fact in purgatory - this theory was dispelled by the show's creator.
For each series of Lost that is filmed, they have an ending already written. This is just in case the contract is not renewed so in any event viewers would at least have a resolution and ending.
For me, although I enjoy the show I feel it's gone far to slow and they're killing it with too much advertising. This has been borne out by the massive fall off in viewing numbers. The pilot on sky one only got around 1.2 million for the new series pilot and that's rubbish. If they don't pick up the pace and increase viewing figures, we'll be getting the 'ending' sooner than we think.

everybody whose responded this to date is speaking rubbish. The writers of the sequence don't understand how the sequence is going to end themselves, they make up each and each episode as they pass alongside. there replaced right into a documentary on television approximately it a at the same time as in the past.

I don't think I wanna know - I'll just be disappointed. Happy with the ride so far!
(It would be totally crappy if it all ended up as someone's complicated dream, like on Sunset Beach)

Apparently the creators have mapped out plotlines for about 10 years. I doubt anyone will care by the end of it.

The cast will finally be rescued by Gilligan. Gilligan's island is just one island over. The Skipper still remembers the territory.

I will think that it will end when they either all get rescued, but I really can't see that happening as that show has so many twists
