The L6 can not be used as an MP3 Player. MP3 files have to have a place to be stored on the phone. The L6 has very little internal memory and no option for a memory card. As the other poster said, you can store a few MP3 ringtones but you can not use this as an MP3 player. The L7 which is the next model up is an Mp3 player
