I don't know, maybe mention it to her casually and see if she would even be willing to go for the idea instead of just flat out asking her. I have my nose pierced and I wear a small diamond stud, however I'm eighteen. It's not very common in women outside of their 20's and to be honest, I will probably take mine out in a few years because it's something you outgrow. Also, it depends on her job and whether it would be acceptable to them. Another thing, if you go to any high-quality piercing salon (which is where I would highly recommend because I have seen some bad results from lower quality salons), they will usually only pierce with a ring. In order for the piercing to heal right, you need to be able to turn and rotate the jewelry. The only way to do this is with a ring which you need to leave in for 6-8 weeks. That could be another consideration, I had to get mine pierced with a ring and I hated the way it looked, your wife may not like it either, especially as a mom of two who is pretty conservative. I also found it to be painful and I have many other piercings but this one hurt a lot. Like I said, I would recommend casually bringing it up or asking her if SHE liked it and the way it looked, and then if she said she likes it, then maybe suggest that she get it. It really depends on how open your wife is to new things and whether or not she's willing to compromise that. But good luck!

No, I dont think it would be wrong of u to ask her. If she already has a belly button pierced then why not a nose ring. Just tell her that you think it is sexy and she doesnt have to get anything big, just a small diamond stud!! I have my belly button pierced but I havent gotten the nerve up to bet my nose done, I think it would hurt!! Good luck!!

How long have you been married? Was she joking when she said it? Maybe it doesn't fit on the "right" finger and she needs to have it re-sized. Did you talk about what she meant when she said it? You can't just leave that one hangin' in the air.

I would not. If she's playing it conservative where everyone else can see, that means that she doesn't want to flaunt it. Ask her if she wants one, or maybe suggest a tattoo that means something to the both of you in a more private place. That would be even better.

Your wife's body belongs to her. It would be her decision to have a nose ring if she wants it. Just think how much you would like having to do something to your body just to have your wife's approval.

Yes, it would. You don't ask people to do that kind of thing for you, rather that's their decision.
If someone were to ask me to do anything to myself I don't want to, they would be single in a heartbeat.

Does she want one? If she has suggested to you that she wants one, then fine, but don't push her into doing something she is not comfortable with. HTH : )

You can mention it to her but if she says not then you should not say anymore.
