My six year old son was conceived by the pull out method. My mom also got pregnant with my brother this way. For her, it took about a year for it to happen. For me.....ONE time with no protection and 4 weeks later a positive pregnancy test.
My then boyfriend swore up and down that he pulled out in time. Just to be sure, I jumped up as soon as he was done to go into the shower and try to wash it out. It didn't feel like he came in me but I was paranoid. (sorry if that's too much info, lol!) He thought I was overreacting and there was no way I could be pregnant. Boy was he surprised a few weeks later.
You are playing russian roulette this way. You may have been lucky so far, but eventually your luck will run out. The best method of birth control is condoms with spermicide to prevent pregnancy AND diseases, along with the pill for back up.

you never pull out on time because before you ejaculate you have precum coming out altough you don't feel it. I watch a tv show last week on discovery home & health and this dr said there's more concentration of sperm in the precum that the actual thing. So, having this in mind I can say the pull out method IS NOT effective at all. Use a condom (better the spermicide kind) or your girlfriend needs to adopt a birth control method if she doesn't want to get pg.

It's true. If your male potency is high enough, sperm in the pre-ejaculate can be strong enough to swim up the fallopian tube and cause the woman to become pregnant.
"Pull Out" is not something to take a chance on. I know many people who caused a pregnancy thinking that it was effective. Even if it was 75% effective- Someone is always going to end up in that 25% and it very well might be you.

It is more effective than some forms of birth control, less effective than others. (see below)
Why don't you use withdrawal combined with spermicide, available in films and suppositories. I recommend the suppositories the film is a PITA to get in.
You may also want to consider using Lea's Sheild, it is like a diaphram but does not need to be fitted by a doctor.
There are lots of forms of birth control besides condoms and hormonal methods.

Check out teenwire.com for information. No one can give you a percentage of its effectiveness because it is person to person. Pull out method is not an adequate method of birth control. If you have made it this far count your lucky stars and go out today and buy condoms with spermicide.

HAHA!!! Not very bright boy are you. The pull out method does not work, I have a 4 year old and one on the way to prove it we weren't really trying to prevent pregnancy and we are married so our situation is a little different but you should be more wise and use condoms.

i would say that it's pretty effective if she is also on the pill, however, if that's the only "protection" you guys are using, then i would be concerned. the pre-ejaculate DOES contain sperm, so the whole time you are having sex, there are little swimmers entering her, although it's not alot, it only takes one to get her pregnant.
i would wear a condom or else get her to the dr and get the patch, ring, pill, etc...something!
take care.

Use a condom..it's clear your not going to stop having sex and your so worried about the 'pull out method', just use a condom, they make some really sensative ones.

Most men aren't able to resist in the heat of passion. One may walk in with the intention of pulling out, and walk out with a child 9 months later.
