There are no excuses your parents will fall for. It's best to get yourself to school and LEARN something. Christmas break is coming, can't you wait for that instead of skipping school?

Nasty headache and sensitivity to light and sound. You can't watch TV or anything, but you can read, draw, and maybe catch up on homework or something.
Depending on how sympathetic your parents are, you might just be able to say that the stress has really mounted up on you, you just need a break for a day, and offer to do some extra chores while you're home. If you don't think they'll go for it, though, don't try it because then your chances at the headache will be shot.
Anything else is too iffy, and you could possibly end up with some Tylenol shoved down your throat and kicked out the door.

There are many, many reasons to stay home from school. However, there are few acceptable reasons to stay home from school. These are normally listed in you school's polcies as being reasons that will allow the absence to be excused. If you wish to stay home from school for any other reason, then you are basically saying that I do not believe school is worth my time. Sounds to me that you need to decide why you go to school and where it fits is your priority list of things for your life. Also, answer this: Are you wanting immediate, short term gratification (fun) or are you wanting to become a well rounded, educated, and responsible person?

Skipping school will get you know where in life!!! I am 32 years old and am in college because when I was young I skipped school and eventually dropped out. Stay in school and work hard so one day you can have the life that you want to have.

First, it seems like you already thought of something, because you should be in school now. Cramps are always a good excuse - but only if you are doubled over in pain. Fever is good too. Put a penny under your tongue and then put the thermometer in your mouth...it will bring your temperature up a few notches.

In my opinion there is NO reason to stay home from school unless you are suffering from a contagious disease.
There are too many youths that are not applying themselves while they are in school and thinking that they should receive their graduating certificate.
School is a learning process for facts and for life. If you do not apply yourself as a youth how do you think you are going to be able to apply yourself when you join the work force? It is necessary at this time in your life that you learn to put work into the processess that are necessary to do a good job in school and to be prepared to do a good job in the work force that is fast approaching.
It is not acceptable to decide to stay home from a job "due to some sickness" therefore it is not acceptable for school as well in my opinion.
I hope I never run into you as a person applying for a job in my company unless you have a big change in attitude.!!

If you are in middle school then you shouldn't even be on here! Looks like you shouldn't miss any school.
