I started a small business a year ago and I use Quickbooks, it is so simple and if you need anything you can call them and talk to a live person, which will help you through it all.

I work at a Lumber company and we use a program called Buisness Works. Our accountant recommended it. It is great. and fairly easy once you learn the basics.

Quicken is easy to learn (believe me, it is!) and relatively inexpensive. I would use it for a small business and for home office needs.
