Lithium only masks the problem for a short while, why don't you go to the Church of Scientology and find out what the cause of your depression is. They will cure you by you doing there programs. The money you spend on Lithium is more well spent in getting cured forever with the program offered in Scientology, rather then masking the problem for a short while with drugs that are harmful to you. Lithium tablets or any other anti-depressant tablets have side effects that cause other problems which will mount to more depression and other illnesses. Scientology use no drugs.Lithium and other drugs don't make sense. Lithium and other drug therapy is not the answer and is not logical!!!!

Very strange. Although it has been in use for years as a bipolar treatment, its method of action is still unknown. Of course, you can't take it as a metal, as it is very toxic, and it is only as Lithium Carbonate that it can cross the blood/brain barrier. The therapeutic dose is very close to the toxic level, so it's a rough med to be on. It is still one of the best drugs for Bipolar Type 1, though.

Batteries are poisonous.

If you need medication, you need to go to a doctor to get it. They can decide which kind will be best for you.

Lithium is an older drug. They don't normally prescribe that first. There are many others that are more effective.

Romans 8:31
...If God be for us, who can be against us?

Matthew 17:20
If you have faith .......nothing shall be impossible for you.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Stamp on your mind a mental picture of yourself succeeding and never let this picture fade. Your mind will seek to develop this picture. No matter how badly things are going - picture success.

Repeat the above Bible Scriptures throughout the day.

Visualize God's presence with you. This will force out all doubt and lack of confidence.

God is with me.
God is helping me.
God is guiding me.

Fill your mind with thoughts of faith, confidence and security.
They conquer who believe they can.
Think defeat - feel defeat.
Think confidence - feel confident.
Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain.

Practice faith and your fears, insecurities and depression will soon have no power over you.

Unless you want to die, then go ahead.

The safer way to deal with depression is getting help from family member or a doctor.

I'm sure you've heard of anti-depress pills right?
