Yes, I'd helped work with the crew and was rewarded with a brief ride. It was fun!

This is funny now, but it wasn't then.

My husband & I had been having problems for some time, but we were back together at the time of our 12th anniversary. So as a surprise anniversary present, I got us tickets for a hot air balloon ride. I gave him the tickets on our anniversary (week day) and the tickets were for the following Saturday -- lift off at 7:30 am.

At 6:30 am he went out to get us breakfast to take on the ride. By 7:00 am, I went looking for the tickets, and they were GONE! He never came back home until 9:00 pm that night.

Needless to say, the marriage was truly over -- had been for years anyway. Back then, I cried a lot. Now I laugh at what a gullible moron I was.

Yes. For my sixtieth birthday. Excellent ride. Had to wait several weeks until the weather conditions were right. Early morning 6 a.m. Had to help set up. Drifted up through the morning mist into bright sunlight to between 2000 and 3000 feet over the Medway Valley in Kent. Great views and photographs. Could see for miles. Over one hour trip. Gentle landing in a private field. Then champagne breakfast. Great!

you will get unfastened rides on warm air balloons in Albuquerque, as quickly as you're on a balloon-chasing team. The dedication is in simple terms for the period of the competition itself. Getting on a chasing team is the interior of your budget and maximum relaxing way. i'm advantageous you're able to do this in different areas, in simple terms come across a balloon team. they're often finding for volunteers. it extremely is how i've got ridden on one - no particular occassion.

Yes I have. I liked it but it was just a little boring. I am into more extreme stuff. But if you like a beautiful scenery and nice people. Then do it.
I look my mom for a Hot Air Balloon ride for mothers day in Palm Springs. They served Champange and cookies .lol She loved it.
The only thing I didn't really like was it cost alot. I paid $300.00
But it was worth it cuz I love her.

yes I have! I got 2 tickets from my bf for my birthday but a few weeks later found out I was pregnant so had to put it off for a year. My bf was scared of heights so I took my best friend instead as she has always wanted to go in a balloon. We took off from Bristol and landed in Bath. It was such a magical experiences, sadly none of the other presents the bf has bought have lived up to that! If you every get a chance to do I highly recommend it!

for my mums 50th birthday we all chipped in and got her 2 tickets, she has yet to go up but is really looking forward to it.

Yes I have, earlier this year my daughter surprised me with a trip for my 50th birthday.
She came too. I just loved it.
We flew over the Gold Coast and into the hinterland.
Afterwards we had breakfast at a posh golf resort. (That's the only drawback - those early starts)
You float on the breeze, it is so peaceful and quiet up there.
I would highly recommend it to anyone, though it might be a bit tame for those who are into adrenaline-type sports!
It gives you a whole different perspective on the world.
