No, honey, it is NOT bad. I'm sure you will get several answers telling you that it is, but it isn't. Just be sure to change every 4 - 8 hours even if you don't "fill" it. This helps keep things fresh for you. Also, changing often like that helps prevent TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) which you can read about on the insert in the tampon box.

Of course no one wants to tell you something that may harm you yet it's very corny to tell people to follow directions from the box.
Obviously everyone knows the risk that is written on the box about tss (toxic shock syndrome) yet the only person that I have ever heard of having it was a MAN. I wear tampons throughout the duration of my period - SUPER and that has been for many years (since well before you were born) and I'm straight. But since every body is different you would be wise to ask your physician about your risk because your family may be more prone to TSS than mine. Remember we are made differently and due to the fact that you are very active may or may not be a factor. Go to the WEBmd.com website and type in "Toxic Shock Syndrome" you should find some helpful knowledge there also. Good luck, sweetie!

I used to use tampons. At the time I was pretty active, I lost a tampon inside my body. This was very scary to me. I knew I had put one in and hadn't removed it so I went to the doctor and sure enough it had gotten lost in there. I asked the doctor what made that happen and she said it could have been from the workouts I had been doing but could have happened for no reason. Since then, I do not use tampons. I can always find the pad and it is outside of my body. That makes me feel more comfortable. Don't get me wrong, I used tampons for years and they worked well until that one experience.
Best of luck!

There have been cases linked to problems of females using a tampon all the time. But if you feel that you need to be that busy and require a tampon, then the choice is yours. If you are really concerned ask your family doctor. And at age 15 for you to be this busy because I don't know anyone that swims 8 hours a day and then does all the other things you state, When do you go to school.

You shouldn't always wear tampons because you can get an infection. Since you are such an active person you should only wear the tampons when you are in the water the Rest of the time you should wear some always pad. There is these thick ones but they're not long they're medium short so those are best and you don't have to change them as often as regular pads because they're thick and absorb way more.

I haven't used a pad even once in over ten years now, (since I was 13 or 14 years old,) and I have never had any problems. As others have said, just be sure to change your tampon every 4-8 hours, and if you ever have any pain, you should probably discontinue use for a while and consult a doctor.

it is fine if you wear tampons during the day as long as you change it alot so for instance you go swimming for a long time when your changing into your swimming clothes put in a tampon and then go swimmming then immediatly when you get out of the pool put in a new dry one then when you go to sleep you should wear a pad beacause it could cause tss and that isnt healthy at all or if you cange your tampon in the middle of the night youll probably be good good luck mrry christmas or happy hanukahh hope you find a resulotuion

It is not bad that you use tampons. To each its own. However, it is highly reccomended that you change your tampons regularly because you wouldnt want to get TSS which is Toxic Shock Syndrome. Wearing a tampon at night is not good because you shouldnt wear a tampon longer than 5 hours out of the day and most time we get at least 8 hours of sleep.

nicely, there extremely isnt a fashion to be comfortable on your era. i'd bypass to the bathroom like numerous hour and modify pads or tampons. or you need to take out the tampon after that's been 0.5 the time on the skating rink. Then go away the pad on for the subsequent 0.5 hour(s). attempt to drink a large number of fluids. Like warm chocolate, or water to save from having undesirable cramps. also, devour some bananas with sprinkles and dipped in chocolate. make confident that is chilly too, It makes an excellent snack and bananas help with classes. good success female!!! :]]

Wow, 15 and able to play all day. Must be a great life.
As for your question, no wearing tampons all the time is fine. As long as you're using a size that isn't too large for the rate of flow, that is. And change it often.
