My understanding is that some call centers are quite reliable and good pay if you work hard.
There are others that are "iffy" propositions. It would be very smart of you to research the call center you are interested in by talking to the police to be sure the center is not on a list of places they are monitoring.

Call centres have a high turnover of staff, so if you don't quit you are unlikely to be fired.

Because of the high turnover there are lots of available jobs in the industry.

It is a growth industry, however if you live in western country a lot of this work is going abroad (India and the Phils). So your call centre may shut down.

Customer service is a growth industry and if you like customer service chances are you will other better customer service work.
