Because for many sports including basketball is their only means of getting out of the projects and ghettos. There are exploited by sports agents and schools who see them as only a money maker for their schools and themselves. Nearly all are uneducated both in school and in life when they are first contacted by the agent or school or both. And by the time they are finished with school (most never graduate) they are still uneducated. The make millions of dollars but don't know anything about investing and by the time they are finished with basketball or should I say when basketball is finished with them, they end up right back in the ghetto where it all began. Sad but true.

good question, probably have to go back to early school days to figure this one out. a lot of blacks especially inner city blacks, feel as if that is there only shot out of the ghetto. Also a lot of high school coaches discriminate now against white athletes. harsh but true, just look at some of the comments by coaches across the land, like Air Force's head football coach last year.

African Americans as a race are more athletic ON AVERAGE than whites, asians, and hispanics. Along with this, many of them are raised in inner-city societies where basketball is their only hobby.

you at the on the spot are not a racist, you're basically asking a question. My opinion is that basketball is a elementary recreation, and maximum African human beings are proficient at taking section in basketball. Genes have little to do with it, yet their body variety is larger and superior. enable's settle for it. Lebron is beast. they have astounding athleticism (quickly, severe hops, good stamina, large staying power.)

Becasuse, they grow up in da hood playing basketball instead of going to school. They can play the game well.

they have 3 extra muscles in there legs that make them quicker, taller, and able to jump higher. when playing basketball all of these things improve your game
