I would like to get a white British bull dog with really short hair and get him a tatoo on his shoulder blades. Maybe knock him out somehow so he´s sleeping through the whole thing. One would have a badass dog sporting a tatoo.

Dogs that race are tattooed as well as some show dogs or some kennels will tattoo the pups comming from their kennel.
My Doberman has a tattoo in the insdie of his right thigh.
The military tattoos the serial number of thedog on it's stomach.
Cats are often tattooed also.
But none of these is for decorative reasons.
I am sure it could be done and you can most likey find an artist to do it. I would suggesst having the dog sedated as it is not a fun procedure and the dog is not going to be happy about sitting for it.

Tatooing animals is basically reserved for livestock. Horses are tatooed (mostly at racetracks) in their upper lip with a number so that if they are stolen or an identity is mistaken they can be identifies by their registration number. Cattle, sheep, and pigs are also tatooed. This is a permenant way of idenitfying your animal, along with branding, it just helps to prove your animal is yours. Please don't tatoo your dog, I really don't think it will have the effect you want.

I know that dogs and cats get tattoos on their ears as ids...but what you're asking is something completely different and sounds a little cruel....I'm not sure if anyone would even do that to an animal....and i think the dogs hair would cover it unless you plan on shaving your dogs hair off too....

That is not the type of tatoo an animal normally has. Animals can have identification numbers tatood on the ear or lip.

Many animals are tattooed in their ears for identification. Giving a dog a tattoo on his shoulder would be a waste of money because the dog's fur would cover it.

Yes - I had a toy poodle but had a registration tatoo - not a decorative one.

race horses are tattooed for obvious reasons. however, getting your dog a tattoo just because you have power and aggression issues is inhumane. you don't deserve the privalege and honor of having a dog.
