I have quite a bit still to do and Im starting to feel a tad stressed at the prospect of hitting Newcastle City Centre for the rest of the week.

I have a general idea of what I am getting for everyone though so I will hopefully get everything tonight and tomorrow (if my little arms can take the strain)

Soooo excited for seeing my family and friends and I am producing a lot of saliva while thinking about Xmas lunch. Yipee

I haven't done one piece of shopping and have only sent less than a quarter of my cards. There's no Christmas tree up because I haven't bought it yet, and no presents bought or wrapped. I enjoy watching all the people sit in traffic jams and queues, sweat to get the last sprout from the shops and then spend the day sweating over a hot stove. My Christmas will be calm, wonderful, happy and full of booze. There'll be no wasted turkey because this year I'm cutting it in half and freezing the other half. The oven will not be steaming because I'll cook as normal with a few extras and the dogs will be happy with their little bits.

All this rush over one day - people smiling and saying hello when the rest of the year they look the other way with no smile on their faces. Christmas is over done - just like most turkeys.

Yup..I even put a xmas tune on my cell for an extra touch! I´m..almost done with my xmas shopping-just one more to go actually. And I don´t really mind the chaotic last minute shoppers out there or the long lines at the stores, just being out and seeing everything lighted up makes it worth it.

I have to go to the mall tomorrow to finish up two last people on my gift list! It should be fun because i'm taking my little 9 yr old sister to help her with getting some little gifts for people. I'm so excited for christmas this year, it's my first one with my boyfriend! I plan on cooking him a special meal on Christmas Eve.
