Sure it is possible, but I would think the 18 year old would want to have a few more life experiences under his belt before taking on such a serious commintment. If you want a succesfull marriage then you need to make sure you are ready to be responsible for another person and are ready to sacrafice time and things you normally could just do.. It will be really hard to enjoy being an 18 year old with this kind of responsibiity. It is possible but maybe not enjoyable and alot of work. You are more likely to have resentment later in life becasue you missed out on so many things.

Marriage survives on mutual trust, friendship and warmth. Not by the age difference of individuals. I know a women who is 15 years older than a boy of 25 happily married for the past 15 years.

sure, my husband's colleagues got married 3 years ago, the woman was 39 years old & the man was 27 years old, this year they were blessed with a baby girl & they are happily married & so much in love. just believe in urself & ur relationship, dont worry about what anyone else thinks about it. And like any other relatioship u have to work hard towards it & make some compromises.

it has nothing to do with age...its all about ur feelings for one another if the woman loves him and is sure and he is sure then i think it cud work....if they are really serious and really are in love i dont see how it wudn't survive age has nothing to do with it...the only way age will get involved is in maturity and if hes 18 he is guna still act immature sometimes its the womans job to understand that..but as for the marriage itself i think it cud survive..me and my b/f are 8 years apart in age and were doing great its not about age its about the kind of people the man and woman are...i hope this helps!!

One famous example is Parmeet Sethi & Archana Puran Singh in Bollywood. Another is Aditya Panscholi, His wife is 11years older than him. It's upto the both partners, how understanding they are! These marriages are happening since generations. Best known is of Prophet Mohammed!

My husbands grandparents had quite an age difference with the wife being older and they were married until the wife passed away. About 40 years.

My mother was 28 when she married my dad who was 18. They lived happily together til my mom passed away at 55. He never remaried because he loved her so much. Age doesn't matter when you are in love.
