If you lost but you have more pts then the only reason I can think of that you lost is because you played the same guy earlier in the year in a head to head matchup and he won.
It usually goes on head to head matchup first and then on pts.
BTW: Its "tied" not "tyed"

Check the tie breakers for playoff games you loss a stat like total touchdowns scored or something.

He may have beat you earlier in the year and that gives him the tiebreaker. Points don't matter if he beat you once already.
