Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was the coolest movie a kid could see, back in the day. Then, to find out later that the story was written by Ian Fleming, the same guy who wrote all the James Bond stories, well, that's just icing on an already wonderful cake!

Yeah, the Neverending Story was a great show. But I would say the one that came to mind when I read this was The Black Stallion and The Black Stallion Returns because it always reminds me of my horse when I was young. Even though I didn't have a black stallion, I always wanted one after that. My horse was a Tennessee Walker/ Arabian. Now my daughter owns both movies and loves them just as well.

The Wizard Of Oz. Back than, cable wasn't very popular or afforadble like it is now, and the week before Thanksgiving one of the networks always ran it. We would go to my Grandma's to watch and it was a tradition. Very nice memories...
