You don't say if it's still painful (in which case see a doctor) but if not, you're OK.
Yes, it is perfectly possible to get a permanent lump on the head from an old injury - I've got one from early childhood (30+ years ago) on my forehead and it's nothing to worry about.

My friend broke her leg like 10 yrs ago in high school and she can still feel a little bump too.I heard that when there is trauma to the bones like a break or a chip, that a calcium build up occurs to reinforce the area that was affected. I think that would feel like the 'permanent bump' you're talking about.

its a real masterpeice Steve. Its sad how true it is.. Something are just not possible, no matter how much you want them to be. The love you feel for her is shared, I know it is.. But really its forbidden love, it could never happen. The way you think of her brings me to tears.. You have such a great mind to think of her so perfectly! Its not forced like the others say.. Maybe I think that cuz I know what it all means, and it fits. Or maybe I think that cuz I know everything in this poem flowed straight from your heart, into the paper.... But that's my opinion. Thank you for posting such a terrific poem..

I hit my head once and my lump stayed for about 3 years
and it finally went down
however if you are having headaches you should go see a doc.\but if not it will go down ...... there is no tumors unless you are having headaches, black outs, blurred vision , slurred speach, or loss of memory if your not having any of those your okay

Get a head CT and it will allay your fears of a tumor or any other abnormality, OK? Good luck.
