Joseph Roland "Joe" Barbera (March 24, 1911 – December 18, 2006) was an American animator, cartoon artist, storyboard artist, director, producer, and co-founder, together with William Hanna, of Hanna-Barbera. The studio produced well-known cartoons such as Tom and Jerry, The Huckleberry Hound Show, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo as well as the musical film, Charlotte's Web.
He was 95 years old.
He died of natural causes at his home in Studio City, Los Angeles on December 18, 2006 (18/12/06), ending a successful seventy year career in animation

Joseph Barbera. Hanna died a few years ago. thats why cartoons suck so bad these days. not sure of age but think he died of old age. read it somewhere on yahoo

joe barbera he was the man who created flinstones he died from heart attack i think and he was 95, he also was the founder in rocky and bullwinkle show

They are however both dead now. Hannah died in 2001
