Is anyone else frustrated that "This Perfect Day" seems to be the only Ira Levin book not made into a movie??? I mean come on! It is an awsome story!

I agree with you about "This Perfect Day." it is as relevant now as when it originally came out. Apparently there have been plans for turning it into a movie on a number of occasions, but the plans have always fallen through. Seems like a real missed opportunity. And apparently the book is out of print, too! A shame.

I'd like to see the movie based on the book "This perfect day" by Ira Levin. And you want to removed it a really good film director. I think the movie "The Island" in 2005 with Ewan McGregor took a lot out of this novel, watching the film, I even thought, why not yet credited Ira Levin? The filmmakers "The Island" clearly borrowed a lot from the book by Ira Levin's "This perfect day"

Equilibrium is so close that I'm wondering if it ripped it off (since I see no credit given).
