Try these out
1. Put your monitor in some one else's PC and see if it works.
2. If it does, then the onbaord graphics is faulty consideringthat all the cables of your PC are fine and so is the power supply.
3. If your monitor doesnot work, then, the monitor is faulty as well as your onbaord graphics since you have mentioned that a different monitor is alo not working.
4. Try a AGP or PCI-E graphics card. If this also doesnot work, your motherboard is either faulty or your power supply unit is faulty.
5. Change the power supply unit and if this also doesnot help, then your CPU's fan and heat sink may not be sitting properly on the processor threby causing over-heating of the processor and the system doesnot start at all.
6. You should also check your RAM. Faulty RAM will not start your system at all.
7. If all the above are fine then, its your motherboard which is defective. Change it.

Mine has done this before I calle dgatweay support. The person there said I should close out of everything shut the whole thing down, unplug all connections and then plug them back in then hold down your cpu tower start button for 30 sec. it will go on then off. Then wait a minute and start it up. It is called a hard reboot. I don't know why it does it. It worked for me though. I hope this helps you.

loose dirty or broken connectors are at fault or the monitor connection at the back of your pc has been pushed into its circuit board causing a break in the tiny strips of metal that carry electronic signals/info ,have a peek in your case and see if u can notice any thing wrong!!!!!!!WARNING> switch off everything from the mains first!!!!

If you have tried all the things in the posts, try another monitor.
Or try your monitor on another PC.
