I have several pop-ups that say that I am infected with a "back door" trojan and spyware (it takes me to a "pestsweepter" or sth like that software that I should download 'immidiately')
I've checked the control panel - add&remove software, but I just can't find the spyware and my Norton Antivirus, licensed and all, hasn't found the trojan...can you help me get rid of the pop-ups...please???
Thanks a lot!

Oh, and Merry Christmas!!

Hi there,

If Smitfraud does not fix your problems (as it sometimes doesn't with the latest variants of these infections), then the only other answer is Prevx1.

They have a Free Trial which will scan your PC and remove this and any other infections free of charge:

You can download a free version of Ad-Aware which is great at picking up those things. It works very well. You should run it at least once a week. Good luck!
