I am a black woman who´s extremely attracted to white guys. I am tired of white guys saying that black women aren´t interested in them when there are plenty who are.

I will admit, there are a few black women who SAY they wouldn´t date a white guy but I think they´re just putting up at act for whoever wants to know.

It is not shameful to consider someone of another race as a love interest and we need to stop treating it as if it were. I believe we should embrace our options and stop generalizing.

Most of my guy friends are white....they´ve all said that they thought about asking me out but was scared that i wasn´t interested.

What is there to be scared of?¡? We´re like any other woman.

Tell me what it is we have to do to show that we are interested? I mean i don´t want to put myself out there, but what kind of hints are you guys looking for?

Im biracial and I always assume that white guys arent interested. I had a few white boyfriends when I was younger but it seems that less white guys are interested in me now. Its always every other race but them.

If your interested in someone doesn't matter the color you should speak up and let them know. Never assume that they are not interested. A lot of times you will find that in this situation white guys will wait on a "Q" from you. So honeychild if your interested let them know. Then again some are scared of what others may say ( and it shouldn't matter) You live once so speak up dear, dont wait on them to approach you. Never have regrets and all the oh I should have, could haves and didn't. If one of your white guy friends have said to you "I would ask you out but I'm scared you aren't interested" then your reply if your interested should be" Oh Im interested, what about lets go out to dinner for starters" So now you stop your excuses go on and let whomever your interested in know! :) I'm willing to bet they are just as interested in you as you are them!! Good Luck..Happy holidays!!

I think that white guys get the impression that black girls are too good for them. I think that you should put your move on them (white guys), if you really like them. I also think that you will find a guy that cares for you the same way you care for them, no matter what color.

I completely agree! I think it's so cute how white guys tend to get kinda shy when approaching me...as opposed to the directness and sometimes crude ways of those in urban culture.

There is a line drawn. We love black women. We look and we drool and we wish. But when it comes to asking you out even for a cup of coffee or a soda. That line shows up.The line is a race line. We are white and feel like we are unacceptable by the black community. We feel, even if you like us, your family wont.
It's a scary line to cross.
There is also fear of rejection. It takes a lot of nerve to ask any woman out. White women reject us and we can deal. To finally build up the courage to cross the race line and look into her eyes, then ask her on a date, and have her reject us? It's devastating! Positively crushing!
We feel it's safer to just let it alone.
My son crossed that line and got lucky. My daughter in law is a marvelous person.
He told me all about her and how wonderful she was, before he asked her out. He had to really build up courage to do it. Even with my coaxing and pushing him to go ahead, it took a a lot.
They got married. I have two daughters in law and one son in law. neither daughter in law is white. One is Black and the other is Japanese. I adore them both and believe beyond doubt that my sons could not have chosen better.
Kayla comes and stays with me and my wife for weeks on end. She loves the farm and us. Maeing and Nikki live in Hawaii and we don't see them much.
The thing is. it took both boys time to ask, the wife and myself some coaxing and some promising to get them to ask, then to ask for marriage.
The reason was that line. the race hurdle.
My advice to you is to let the white guys know it's ok, remove that fear. We make pretty good husbands and ok boyfriends.
Both of my sons are in Iraq. The girls both live in fear. Jr. just came home for the holidays, he's healing up from a chunk of shrapnel that tore up his hip. Kayla wont talk about him going back. She's scared and I don't blame her. Her Mother in law went through those same fears when I was shot. Her mom and dad are here with us, at the farm. Joe (her dad) and I talk all of the time about how we can help Kayla understand. Well, we'll muddle through.
Take care.

No one wants to be rejected.

If you are interested, invite them to share something together and tell them you are interested in dating all races.
