Do you have children? If you do I would start enjoying the holiday a bit more because they will feel sad and left out. When you have a family you celebrate christmas for your own kids and make them have the nicest day possible. I know alot of people do suffer at this time of year but that doesn't mean we have to make our own children suffer. Perhaps we should all donate some presents to the unfortunate ones before we are allowed to do our own shopping.

The real meaning of Christmas has long since being lost replaced with the mantra of greed!.. how many times have you heard so far this winter about how the shops are doing and whether its going to be a bumper year for retailers..

Kids have grown up with affluence and become accustomed to getting what they want at Christmas, its obvious that some avaricious kids will be depressed if they don't get exactly what they want. oh i know a few adults who get depressed when they get the credit card bills in the new year..

As a old man walked along a beach at dawn, he noticed an young boy ahead of him picking up starfish and tossing them into the sea. Coming alongside the boy, the old man asked why he was doing this. The boy explained that he was saving the starfish from being killed by the sun during the day.
“But the beach goes on for miles and there are thousands of starfish,” explained the old man. “You alone cna't possible make any difference.” The boy looked at the starfish in his hand and then tossed it safely into the waves. He turned to the old man and said,

“I made a difference to that one. ”

Give up your bitter stand. Make a difference to one kid you know. It'll put a little holiday cheer in your heart. God bless.

Maybe. Thought one year to have a 'we don't want Christmas' party: ie rent place on coast near Whitby and have folk chip in to join up and get taxi-full of Newcastle Brown. No xmas kit allowed. Probably wouldn't be big enough. Maybe not suitable for small humanoids.

Unfortunatly the real meaning has been lost with a commercial ethic a way of making you get into debt and part with loads of money you can do with out spending also elivates the pain of oppresion for a while as well.

So your idea is that 6 out of 6 should all feel sad. What a screwed up way of looking at life. I guess since my cousin Frank died we all should die so he doesn't feel left out.
