How to un-yellowish the pages of a book?

My books have started to yellow, the pages themselves have yellowish markings. How do I make them less yellowish? Is there a way to return them to their pure white or at least a non yellowish color?

Cause I am trying to sell them during a charity event, but I doubt people will buy yellowish books....

Try putting the book in the refrigerator. It works. I think you should try it. Place it in the refrigerator for about a day, and the stains and pages will turn a bit white. Make sure it is not wet, or else it will freeze.

You could do this too if your books is dusty. Check the condition of book from time to time. It's that simple

It is impossible to turn a yellow pages to white. Books get old. These paperback books are usually made from recycled paper.
As this is charity, I am sure buyers will understand about it. Just make sure you present the book well.

getting aging out of paper requires the work of a professional restorator and that is expensive for anything less than a major collectors item most people who buy books for love of reading and building their own personal libraries do so because they honor the value of a good story and are less worried about the color of the paper. Those who buy simple thinking that something as awesome as a book in only an item for resale are far more interested in pristine condition because it brings more money to their pocket and not because it touches their lives forever and changes the way their heart sees the world or teaches them something that they really want to learn

I am afraid that you cannot get rid of it - it is to do with the acid in the paper.
