Michigan weather sucks ! Any good ideas or places to go with the kids this winter ?

the weather these past few weeks has been Spring like.. so don't understand the weather comment
With usual winters here in Michigan most people take their kids
sledding,
ice skating ,
to Winter fests,
to see Christmas lights,
to the movies,
go to Belle Isle and see the plant conservatory,
go bowling,
take them to the Historical Museum,
The DIA,
The Henry Ford
let the kids one at a time have a sleep over
have a outdoor pizza party in the middle of winter at a local park{ on of my fav memories}
anytime , anywhere you are spending quality times with your kids .. it's priceless

I disagree on your statement on Michigan Weather. There are so many things to do in Michigan anytime of the year with kids. Winter sports are everywhere and kids love the snow. I know that this year we do need more of snow.
We just returned from a weekend trip to Frankenmuth. Nice little German town that the kids and you would enjoy. Food is great there. Good time at hotel swimming in the evening too. cheers

Check out some of the churches in your area. Many of the large mega churches put on Christmas programs that are really nice. Best of all most are free.

Ice skating.
Lightfest in Westland.
Movies.
Rollar Skating.
Bowling.
