I'm assuming you mean a belly button ring? I took mine out because it didn't heal well, but i kept it clean and washed it with saline solution as you should when you first get it pierced. I still have a red mark there but its fading slowly, this only happened a couple of months ago so i'm not sure how /if you can make sure it go back to normal, just wait and see!

You start by pulling your belly button all the way out which is about 3 feet. Then using washing up water you just wash it and stuff it back :)
If you are referring to a belly piercing then wash in salt water and that will help to keep it clean :)

The biggest advice I have is take it out awhile before you plan on having children. When I got pregnant, my scar stretched out about 5 inches! It's worse than any other stretch mark I have!

If you actually can remove your belly button, you probably should see a doctor ASAP!

there is only one person i know who doesn't have a mark left after her piercing,i guess she is really lucky.i had mine pierced 12 years ago and each year it scars more,so then i have it pierced again to hide the scars..so take it out the sooner the better and maybe use bio oil from boots to reduce scarring.
