That would depend in part on the reason you were let go. If it was over-staffing or cut-backs, or any other reason besides incompetence or discipline problems, you can re-apply with a good chance of getting re-hired. Especially if you left on good terms, your previous history will be an asset.

I would say that if all depends upon what you were let go for in the first place...

Do you think that there were others who should have been let go before you were?

Would you be working for the same boss? - and did you have a good relationship with him/her?

If it was simply for economic reasons and you liked working there maybe you should but just remember that it probably isn't too secure since they already let you go once... if things turn down... you'll be let go again.

Best of Luck

Why were you let go? If it was for poor job performance or something inappropriate you did, I would not reapply. If it was because your position was eliminated through no fault of yours it would be fine to apply again.

depends on why u were let go. if they just didnt have work for u, then u can prob reapply. if u were let go for other reasons (where they wouldnt give u a good recommendation) then dont bother reapplying.

Several factors need to be taken into account:
- Why were you "let go"? It might not be worth the time to apply, if they're just going to reject you out-of-hand (i.e., "Oh, no, not THAT guy!")
- Did you enjoy the job before?
- Was the pay sufficient before? What is the pay proposed now?

Myself, I once went to work for a place that had let me go, and had a bad experience. Now, if I am let go, I'm gone. Bye bye.

It depends if you were laid off or fired.

Laid off, feel free.

Fired, don't even try.

Chances are when I fire someone there's good reason, and I've fired them because they were unemployable. Keep in mind you can always get fired again.
