Would you accept a new job (slightly senior level), but only at 16% higher than what you are getting now?

I know the rule of thumb is about 25%, but sometimes that may not be possible if the seniority level between the new and current job is not that far apart.

It depends on the job scope and responsibilities of your new vs current job. Also, what's the norm in the market in your country? Salary etc. differs from country to country...

I would. Having a 10% increment is sufficiently enuff to make me happy.
