I am surprised at all the cartoon answers. Probably all the above answers are given by people less than 25 years old and think that you are talking about the movie with Steve Martin.
Peter Sellers as Clouseau has to be one of the funniest characters ever...
If you haven't seen any of these, go check them out. Nothing Hollywood makes today is even close to being as funny as these:
The Pink Panther (1963) | A Shot in the Dark (1964) | The Return of the Pink Panther (1975) | The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976) | Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978)
Later Pink Panther movies were made after Sellers' death.
Classic Quotes:
Mrs. Leverlilly: But that's a priceless Steinway!
Clouseau: Not anymore!
Clouseau: I thought you said your dog did not bite!
Hotel Clerk: That is not my dog.
Oh, and the fight scenes with Cato...priceless.

i stumbled on out about the remake very last evening and said it this morning. even although, i'm a huge FAN of the classics, i stumbled on the hot episodes to be truly respectable. i'm guessing you believe you studied it this morning too at the same time as the dude wanted to bathe yet couldn't and the ant replaced into babysitting the monkey?
