He is probably teething, but just to let you know it could be a WHILE until that first tooth finally erupts. I have an 8-month-old who started all the teething symptoms around 3 months, and that 1st tooth didn't come in until 4 months later! some moms have told me their children were closer to one year! You'll know when it's about to happen; you can see the little teeth below baby's gums. Good luck!

Yes, that all sounds like teething. Also, if you look at the gums sometimes you can see a white spot where the tooth will be coming in.

Your babys doctor should be able to tell if there is a tooth coming in. (Try baby orajel, i'd recomend the cherry or fruit flavored kind.. it tastes better.)

My son didn't like any except the fruit flavor.. lol. If your baby IS teething.. you may be losing some sleep for awhile! (Try to take naps when your baby does, and you won't feel like you're losing your mind from sleep depravation.)

Good luck to you!

that sounds like teething. my 6 month old is also teething. she already has 1 tooth. She cries sometimes at night and chews her hands and sucks on her lip. I give her ambesol and I wash my hands and let her gnaw on my knuckle. Also, a cold or frozen washcloth works well to let them chew on.

could be teething, but also could be an ear infection. Always get your baby checked just to be on the safe side.
He might still be too young for medicine, which will make it so hard on him, so that's another reason to get him checked.
He could even be getting sick with a cold or flu.

Whether he's teething or not it's always good to keep in close contact with his ped just to be on the safe and comfortable side.

Yes, he sounds like he is teething.......Does he slober all over the place? I know that sounds strange but when a baby is teething they slober alot. I found that the thing that helped my son the most when he was teething was orajel or teething tablets....they work wonders!
