Food aboard the Space Station comes in several forms. Most of it is processed and packaged in pouches or cans, and some is dehydrated. Some can be eaten as it is, while some foods are heat-and-eat. Other dishes are prepared by adding hot water. A small amount of fresh food is also brought to the Station by the Shuttle and Progress space vehicles.

The fresh foods include fruits and veggies, but nothing that requires refrigeration. The Station has a small refrigerator on board, but power limits do not guarantee it can be used continuously. So all food is stored at room temperature.

What are you thinking? Do you think that for some reason, they can't take food along with them? Try this out for grammar:

"How DO astronauts survive in space without food?"

Work on that, then ask questions about space.

Lol, they don't survive without food, they have rations provided. This food is dehydrated "space food" and is extremely compact to ensure the astronauts have all the nutrients and minerals they need. The food is small and quickly broken down however and so their stomachs adapt over the long period of time they are in space and so when they return to earth, need to re-adjust their stomachs to larger masses of food in a similar way malnourished children from third world countries do.

They can't. They take food along in the space craft and eat every day just like they do on Earth.

They don't. They would die. To prevent this, NASA spent billions of dollars to assemble a crack team of scientist to come up with a solution. After much deliberation, they decided to let them take food with them to eat.

Hi! this is shama.

actually, astrounats do actually get food. their food is not like ours, they get it fed to them out of tubes, well some times. in modern space ships, they get food just like we do, but they don't get as much liquid, or cheese burgers and stuff. it might just float away!

hope i helped you, shama
