Nonsense. Even Maury himself laughs in interviews about the ridiculous nature of his "show." They're actors.

I viewed the video and thought that it was a disgrace! How could the phobia (fear of peaches) of this poor man be exploited by Maury to give a laugh or two to a bunch of demented spectators, instead of having a psychiatrist on the show to help the suffering phobic man.

I think those people on Maury are full of crap I have seen a couple shows with that. I am so so afraid of spiders and would never act like that I kill em before they can get me! I know you can have fears but these are adults they look like they are just crazy 1 ant short of a picnic, 1 donut short of a dozen,etc Merry Christmas!

You are talking about the fat guy who's afraid of peaches, right? It's preety strange. However, people do have fears of the strangest things. Did you ever see the Trya show with people with irrational fears? They had a woman on who was afraid of gnomes and the Travelocity commercial scared her to death! I, myself, have a fear of cotton balls! It's not really a fear but I get the "heebie, jeevies". I can't even think about cotton balls without getting creeped out. One time a lady at the Clinique counter went to use one on me and I almost freaked out. I think the Peach guy really was overacting, though. Don't you?

ohhh gosh...scared of peaches? and pickles? maybe the birds i do understand but that is just weird...they don't even move! but i think their is a phobia for everything out there...i just didn't know that one could be scared of inanimate objects...especially a fruit!
