The heaviness and soreness of breasts that can be associated with pending menstruation or with pregnancy is due to increased progesterone in your system; pregnant or not, your body's progesterone level goes up after you ovulate, when the follicle that released the egg produces it. If there is no pregnancy, that follicle (called the corpus luteum) will break up, your progesterone levels will go down, and you'll start to bleed. If there is a pregnancy, the pregnancy hormones secreted by your body will "tell" the corpus luteum to keep on working, and making progesterone until later in the pregnancy when the placenta takes over.
That's more information than you asked for but I wanted to explain why you can experience those symptoms at this time, and why it doesn't necessarily mean anything. You already know it's too early to test, you're just going to have to wait and see what happens, unfortunately.
As to why your breasts would be more tender/sore this cycle than other cycles: again, that doesn't mean you're pregnant, there are other reasons why your body might just have more progesterone this cycle. You could have released more than one egg (and therefore have more than one corpus luteum producing progesterone right now). It could be a single corpus luteum, and just higher progesterone levels (they can vary).
I never experienced a burning sensation, so I'm not sure what to tell you about that. If that doesn't go away, however, I would speak with your doctor, just to be sure that's not of concern.
Good luck.

unfortunately, it's still too early if you're 10 days away from your period. the best tests only predict about 4 days out, tops, and even then your readings may not be accurate. however, if your period was irregular last month, it's possible that you are pregnant, but just more so than you thought!

It too early for pregnancy symptoms to start 10 days prior to period. You could be suffering from sever pms symptoms. Wait for ur period to due before u test and stop giving urself so much pressure.. Good luck!
