There is no real difference seeing as how the WWE owns ECW. ECW is meant to be the "hard core" division of WWE. They specialize in "extreme" matches, nothing different though than what we witnessed between Edge and Mick Foley at last years Wrestlemania.
To me ECW is sensless beating. There is not point to it, it is "just pick up whatever you can grab and smash someone with it" wrestling. It really is pointless in my view.

With how ECW has turned out currently, there really isn't a difference anymore... Vince has basically made it into a 3rd show where everything is basically just like what you get from RAW and SD.
