Assuming BMI made the decision on a reasonable assessment of the situation in Saudi Arabia, that was the right decision to make.
However, people who believe they should have their Bibles with them all the time can quit and find a company that does business in free countries. That would be true whether or not BMI made the correct assessment.
It would be a waste of time to judge Saudi Arabia from the perspective of a nation that values personal freedom.

It's illegal to import Bibles into Saudi Arabia. BMI has to be seen to abide by the laws of countries they fly into. It's nothing to do with being PC at all.
If you're unhappy about this write to the Saudi Arabian embassy. Their contact information is here:

I have a feeling it's illegal to possess a Bible in Saudi Arabia and if you're caught with one it could mean death - so perhaps this isn't as bad as it seems in this case!
PC is going too far though! Things are going from bad to worse :(

You will probably find that Bibles along with alcohol and pornography are prohibited items under their law. Who's to say whether it's right or wrong, it's their country? If the importation of Bibles to Saudi is illegal, how can you accuse BMI of pushing PC rubbish?
More thumbs down because some people just can't handle the truth.
AVONDROW. The Middle Eastern states do not use toilet paper, they wipe their backsides with their left hand. That is why they are offended if you offer your left hand to shake and not your right hand. Thieves have their right hand cut off, making them social outcasts.

This has been reported by only one 'newspaper' in the world, The Sun. It is nothing more than yet another attempt by the gutter press to whip up outrage over an imaginary 'war on christmas', and there is no reason to believe a word of it. Please attempt to use some level of critical judgement when reading right-wing tabloids.
The EU didn't really ban bendy bananas either, by the way.

It's a load of **** if you've noticed there are countless mosques and foreign places of worship but if you go to Iraq or Saudi Arabia or any muslim country in the east you will never find a Christian church or place of worship. It's just giving muslims the world if you ask me, it's as if they're meant to own the place. We are too P.C. and we are push overs. It's ok if they want to live over here but they are taking over.

I presume that in an act of "fair play" Saudi airlines, have instructed their aircrews not to bring the Koran into Britain.

WRONG.
How can we as apparently intelligent people expect ourselves to tolerate other religions then expect others not to tolerate our own?
How can you justifying discrimination against yourself?
C'mon BMI. Get a backbone!
