you are not alone. someone does that to me a lot. rude people are everywhere. just take it in stride and don't let it get to you. i am sure someone will "thumbs down" this answer as well.

Well.... answering a question and voicing what you think is a brave normal positive reaction .... the people who put the thumbs down are just being negative... it is easier for them .... You did the right thing... ignore the incompetent.

i think people just give thumbs down for the fun of it. i think y!a should do away with the thumbs down and only allow a thumbs up. but trust me you are not alone.
