Go on-line and type in the search term "equestrian trade shows" on Yahoo. A number of listings come up with associations, etc. dealing with horses.

I would recommend traveling to one of the shows and walk the booths. You get to see the products first hand and talk to the factory reps, etc.

Keep good records and receipts... it is a write off for business expenses.

Good Luck

I used to buy whole bridal hides(very good quality and they provide the length needed for reins). Company called Sedgwicks in Walsall north england or J T Batchelors, 9-10 Culford Mews, London, n5. They are primarily leather suppliers, they do a good range of dyes, buckles etc but they should be able to help you find more specific companies.

You can do this quite easily: Go to a website or a store that is not in direct competition with you because of location. Explain what you are doing and ask for their help. They may even be eligible for a referral fee for sending you to their supplier.

Go to a competitor, look at the stuff they are selling. Most companies that have stuff in stores have website addresses that you can contact. Contact them.

Use the Internet and do a search. Lots of places will ship to where you are.
