Spice Girls by miles. Girls Aloud way behind i mean there Christmas hit is a Tiffany song whats that about. Its a shame because they had one good year 1996 you can imagine what they would have done if they didn't split up in a way they did the other girl groups a favor. I think that The Sugarbabes are better than Girls Aloud.

I would say Girls Aloud, they have a great songwriting team behind them, although i think they should give the ballads a rest, not their strong point! Also they don't try to be anything more than what they are, and stick to making good pop music, unlike the Spice Girls (anyone remember Spice World:The Movie? Thought not!), and they havent tried to make a crap r'n'b album yet! I don't know why all the attention is on Cheryl and Sarah though, everyone knows that Kimberley and Nicola are the hottest ones!

Neither!
They're both manufactured groups who only really care about the fame, and not the music. That's what you get for going down the slippery, manufactured route. Girls Aloud are so up themselves it's shocking. They simply produce cover after cover, they don't write any songs for themselves, (writers do it for them), and all they want to do is look pretty in front of the camera!
True musicians write their own music, and so are passionate about what they write, which really shows in their performances. They also wouldn't try to be famous by going on X-factor or popstars etc, as all they care about is the music, not the fame. Because of this, they truly appreciate the fans, and aren't up themselves, like Girls Aloud are.
The Spice Girls started all of this manufactured pop craze, but Girls Aloud have taken it to a knew level.
If your question was "Who is worse?" I'd have to say Girls Aloud (Or, as I call them, Noisy Bints). I make a point to never buy any mag with them on the cover, switch over if they're on the TV and I will NEVER buy tickets to a gig/show that they perform in, even if the gig would otherwise be any good. Grrr, I hate 'em!

Spice Girls weren't great singers and weren't great looking but they were legends, they were huge all around the world and got really far with what they had... Girls Aloud are like a 'cleaned up' version of the Spice Girls, they're more talented and better looking, but still their image is nowhere near as memorable as the Spice Girls.
