He's 21,we've been dating for the past 4 years,and i want to give him a special gift,something different,not a cd or a book...please help me

It would depend on what his interests are. The best special present is not a physical possession but one that will create a lasting memory. If he loves a particular bands or sport, find one that is playing in your area and buy a tickets for both of you to that event.
