Its an old stand-up. Several keys don't work. Hard to keep in tune. Probably 60 years old or more. Labeled Leins - New York. Where do old pianos go to die?

Many things you can do with an old piano. Try your Yellow Book (phone book) -Look up music shops who like to repair instruments, and offer to donate it. Better yet... Tell them you want to donate the piano to a school, or (better yet) a nursing home, and ask if they'd be willing to donate repairs for the elderly, who would probably appreciate such a gift. -It IS Christmas ya know...

even a bad piano will sell for hundreds put an add in the local paper and ask more than you think its worth than if someone comes act like you really hate to sell it but take what he offers you get a little cash he feels he got a bargain

Take some photos of it, write down all important info you know about it, then go around to some antique stores in your community and see what they think it's worth. Some of them (often for a fee) may even appraise it for you. Working or not, old pianos are worth money and you shouldn't just trash it. Anyone who does that is foolish!

well since you can't throw it over and out the window. it would make good firewood or even a donation to ones great idea of a bonfire bring your own and old furniture to burn, also any old photos of exes as well are welcome. but the easiest thing to do. Sell it, put it in a ad, but more easier and quick. put in a ad or on crai888list for FRREEE. you will have no problems and you'll never have to deal with this question again...unless you buy another one

Advertise in your local paper or go to local music stores. If it's that old somebody will probably want it for more than $20.

Pianos go to the great music hall in the sky........

Some church or day care would love it. Put an ad in the freecycle site in your area.

www.freecycle.com

Please save our landfills, this site is amazing. You will be rid if it in a day, promise, people look for things like this and are able to fix them up. Good Luck!

Try to trade in for a new one. If not possible, consider to sell off to the garbage man.

call up local charities in your area. there must be a list in the yellow pages. it might even work for you as a tax deduction as well!
