hahaha
May I know who told u this but I am totally opposite to this concept. I myself is not thirty but you know what ?? I really can't see the reason why I should feel old when I become thirty..I mean, in my opinion, I just think that if u r enjoying what u r, what u have been and what u have in ur life, then u won't feel old even if u r fifty or sixty..plz just enjoy ur life and forget about that age problem...days will come and go and so do joys...honestly why we should feel miserable and blue thinking about the ages or whether r we old or not?? Come on, my friends..there are a lot of great future ahead of u....if u r thirty, then it is good since u have experienced enough to live happily and peacefully...It is not that old yet... :)

It is a matter of perspective. To a three year old, thirty may be consider old,but to an eighty year old,you are just a baby.Do not get hung up on your age, just try and live each day as if it is your last, and you will bring out the best in you each day,and if the creator bless you to attain old age (100 plus years),perhaps you will be ready to leave this earth.

No, thirty is not old and at my age I would then be considered over the hill and I am not far from thirty.

It depends, sometimes age is like beauty, it depends upon the eyes of the beholder. Some people looks, talks and thinks older or younger than their age, so age does'nt matter nowadays. I am 30 years old now and I am not feeling old. However, there are some circumstances that makes me feel old already, that is when I am with children of course. And I also feel so young when I am with people 5+ years older than I.

No... if the average lifespan is 70, then 30 is not even half way.
Also, old or not seems to be both a function of the state of mind of the person, as well as relative to other people. So if you compare yourself to people in their 40s and older, then you are quite young! However, even to me (26), I consider 30 is not old.

I don't think 30 is old at all. It's not even middle aged yet. And I am speaking as a 17 year old so I'm more likely to see people as 'old' whereas people who are 60 would see 30 as young.

But no, even as a teenager still I don't think 30 is old.

It depends. For a pro athlete, it's probably in the twilight of his or her career, (except for pro golfers, they can play into their 50's and still be competitive). For the average person, 30 is in no way old.

No way!
I'm 20, but i know so many people between 30 & 40 who I wouldn't call old at all!
