I'm working on building my first computer. I have done a bunch of minor upgrades to computers I have bought for quite some time now, but this is the first I have built from scratch. Now, the motherboard that I bought has two IDE-133 and two SATA. What I was wondering is can you use both the SATA drives and the IDE drives at the same time, or is it an either one or the other type of thing.

I haven't seen any boards where you are limited to one or the other. The only limitation may be how they may be used in RAID if your board has that capability.

What's the manufacture and model of the board? The documentation should confirm.
