Since now I had 2 IDE hard discs so i thought that my motherboard was also IDE.But just now i opened the tower and i saw two free connections with the names SATA 0 and SATA 1.This means that my motherboard is SATA?And if my motherboard is SATA,can i put another one SATA hard disc without compatibility problems?

Sounds like your motherboard has both PATA 40 PIN IDE connectors and SATA connectors, this is quite common.

You should be able to add additional SATA compatible hard drives to your SATA connectors withhout problem. However you may need to purchase power cable adaptors as some SATA drives have a different power connector.

You will also need to make sure your your SATA controller is enabled in BIOS and that the relevant drivers for the SATA controller are installed in Windows

Even SATA capable Motherboards have IDE controllers, and yes you can install IDE hard disks along with SATA hard discs without any problems.
I got 2 IDE hard disks and 1 SATA hard disk and they're working well together.
