MAX PLANK A GERMAN , PROPOSED IN1900 A HYPOTHESIS COL LED quantum hypothesis
according to it;
radiation con sits of packets of energy called quanta, these travel with the velocity of light
energy E is given by
E=hv
where v= frequency of radiation, h is a constant called Planck's constant. its value = 6.626*10-34Js

ALBERT EINSTEIN IN 1905 Gave simple & satisfactory explanation of photoelectric effect by extending plank's quantom hypothisis

If you want to know the book and the completed theories that got the whole quantum mechanics in its entirety field going, it was a book called
"Can Quantum-Mechanical Description of Physical Reality be considered complete" by Einstein, Podolsky and Rosen.
It was written in 1935.

in quantum theory is about light according to this theory light is travelled in form of quanta.
Schroedinger and Einstein and Max Planck are the scientist behind this theory

quantum theory tells everything is quantized.........example:light, mass,momentum ,spin,anglr momentum,energy,charge,etc
the some pillars of q theory are
1.heisenbegs uncertainity principle
2.debroglies law
3.schrawdinger wave mechanics
4.diracs relativistic theories
5.feynman digrams
etc

The scientists who laid the foundation stones are
max planck,einstein,debroglie,heisenberg,schrdnger,dirac,bohr,RP Feynman........

down mr.zeedo t. tells that einstein is not a fan of quantum mechanics..........its true but einstein argued only abt the philosophical contradiction of q mechanics.........no one can forget the famous eicstein-bohr game which took place at the early stages of q mechanics devlpment..........

but it is even Neils Bohr stated that einstien s photoelectric theory indeed paved the way to q mechanics.....
and Dr.Abraham pais,a contemporary scientist of einstein stated that the person who pondered and who has got deep understanding in qmechanics is none but albert einstein..........

so if you talk about q mechanics.................you must state albert einsteins name.thats my kind opinion

I would go to a good bookstore and pick up a book on the history of quantum theory or any introductory book on the subject.

Actually, Einstien was not a fan of quantum mechanics, nor was he key in it's development. Schrodinger, Dirac, Bohr and Heisenberg were founders.
