I'm a student of 6th semester. I want to transfer my credit in UK's universities or colleges

I deal a lot with international students entering UK universities and all of the universities require IELTS score of 6 or higher. The only students I have seen accepted without this are those with GCSE English or who take the universities own entrance exams. The universities do not allow students to start a course without this because they fear that the student will not be able to understand lectures, read required texts or write reasonable English in assignments or exams.

In any case, you probably won't get a student visa if your English is poor. Have a look at the site below and find out how to get an IELTS qualification in your country.

If you want to study at a UK university, and you have credits to transfer, one more test (the IELTS test) should not be a problem for you. If it is the only thing that stops you getting entry, you know you have just this one test to pass, so do it and realise your ambition.

You won't need IELTS if you have ESOL or GCSE English.

The reason most universities ask for IELTS is for your sake, not there's - IELTS is a good way of proving that you speak and read enough English to be able to do well on the course.

If you can't speak english well, then perhaps you should study in a country where english isn't the first language?
