Change for betterment and aspiration is the general cause for leaving a job and switching over to some other and i am no exception. i expect to grow further with your company and I do hope I will have adequate opportunities.

Be honest with your interviewer(s). Sometime, telling the truth, even if it seems it will put us on the disadvantage side, may turn out to be the breakthrough we‘ve been waiting for. Beside, there is always the tendency that your current/potential employer will always find out from your former employer why you left, just with a press of a button; and you know what, that could be a disaster for you, and of course the kind you did bargain for. But in any case, don’t you ever say that you could not flow well with the staffs of your former organization and so you left. This could mean you were not a good team player, even with the best defense mechanism you can provide. However, on a more serious note, all you need do, besides saying the truth is that "you left the former organization because you need a place that will offer more challenges to you, a place that will be more intellectually tasking and a place that will demand more from you when it comes to professional ethics and governance. And from you feasibility study, there could be no any other place for “NOW” more than the current organization you are being interviewed for.

Just indicate some sort of advancement or reason to move forward.

A lot of interviewers really aren't that bright and amazingly, I've seen some right here on Yahoo Answers asking what questions they should ask prospecive employees!!

I really don't like the corporate world and falling into that system. It's usually better to work for yourself, even for less money.

Yes this question every employer will ask at the time of interview. better to give actual reason why you are desided to leave the presentt job. If some time the reason may not influence your new job. that time you have to give the reasons like better salary, better working environment, or ready to take more responsibility, learning of new things and changes. the reasons must add on to your profile. it should not give negitive effect.

But my suggestion is better to explain the actual reason why you have to search for the new job.

Your best bet is to think of optimistic answers--looking for more security, more pay, etc. Don't bad mouth the organization. When they ask questions like that, they look for answers that show or don't show honesty, laziness, potential confrontational behavior... You can choose a benefit that the potential organization has that would interest you as an answer--"I recently had heard that your company has a wonderful child care program..." "I read on your online site that your company enables its employees to ______, where my current employer doesn't offer this benefit..and I need it because______."

I would say that I want to leave or had left as I want to improve on myself and become a better person.

Well... in such cases one should be very straight forward, we shouldn't hasitate in saying the truth. If u got better job n more salary simply say I have been getting offers which proved to be better for me so just resigned.

Tell them the truth. In spite of the fact that you stole something from there I'm sure the new company will view your honesty favourably and you will land the new job. Good Luck.

Make sure you don't badmouth your former colleagues or employer, or make reference to "personality conflicts." That does tend to make you look unreliable and not a very good "team player."
