Ariel Sharon is still alive.
He suffered a massive stroke on January 4, 2006. He fell into a coma, and still has not regained consciousness.

It's crazy but that guy is still somehow alive.
2 strokes, a hole in his heart, a brain disease, multiple surgeries, intestinal bleeding with part of his intestines removed, necrosis, deteriorating kidney function with renal replacement therapy, pneumonia in both lungs and a heart infection (plus the coma).

He is still alive... barely. He had a major stroke that he has no realistic chance of recovering from. (BTW, he was the PM, not the president.)
