Ford Fiesta

I presume you have a lot of distance to cover, otherwise either diesel does not make sense.
Accent/Viva CRDi - very refined and great smooth power delivery, good for overtaking, but also comes with cramped interiors and poor packaging
Fiesta - 1.4 TDCi duratorq comes at a good price, is very refined, but slightly underpowered for its weight. Packaging and ergonomics, space inside, etc are much better than the accent though.

I would pick the Ford.

having said which, why not look at the Verna? Or better still at the Safari and Scorpio? They are all very refined common rails at around the same price

I have had a ford before and it is really good and stylish but the maintenance is not so good and it the maintenance is also expensive. So i think that you should go for the Accent Crdi.
It is a good cars and it also has a really good pick up.

Buy the Ford for certain. Their reliability has improved greatly and it is much more fun to drive that the Accent. Go for a test drive and see for yourself. Finally, of something breaks, and all cars need maintainence, the parts for the Ford are much more affordable and easier to find than the accent.

Both are junk cars. One comes from Ford stable and other one from Hyundai. The best cars that well suit for Indian roads are the ones those come from Maruti stable. All Maruti vehicles are reliable and proved their worth in these 22 years.

as you have chosen only these two cars, other options are also available.. but ..after all its your choice... well hyundai accent and ford fiesta both are from the same power of 1600cc engine and of similar capacity. but as looking at the technology both employ same i.e. crde(common rail diesel engine) but i think ford is much advnce in technology as compared to hyundai and they are more experienced than hyundai after all they are in generations for diesel technology. do you remember ford started india operations by launch of escort ford disel car.hyundai' ans are kid in this field.
in addition to this fiesta offers turbo power with crde engine where it is absent in hyundai. also have you seen the limca book of records for fietas record mileage of 36 kmpl. also ford is having good sales and service support as compared to hyundai.
so go for ford fiesta.... man .... Go Fida....
Bye..
